Rot and Ruin came to play. Induced 2 rerolls and a babe. All helped a good deal. Sadly a non-game for Hulk Smash- no skill ups, minimal winnings...

A rather uneventful win for the Brawlers

A silly game with Orcs inducing 3 cards... two of which were never used, which may have scored a TD for Hulk Smash when a Troll caught a bouncing ball and forgot to use a ring of teleportation and a force shield...and boom goes they dynamite.

the lizardmen brought thier A game, and the Necros were short handed. Substitutiary Locomotion brought a wizard and a Master Chef. The chef failed miserably in his job in the first half, stealing only 1 reroll. He was served by Substitutiary Locomotion during the 2nd half which didn't appel to the lizardmen at all stealing no rerolls.

Veloci-Rapture induce a babe and a wizard. The wizard really paid off. A fireball knocked 5 players down, stunning 4 of them.

I well placed hoof MNG'd the minotaur (you're welcome, Snorri's Slayers)

The claws and ref ejections took their toll - but the home team came out on top.

The dwarfs pull off an improbable win: passing to a blocker who had to go for it twice. Lots of ones and skulls for the Chiefs helped, too.

Halflings pull off a one-turn TD and then get a blitz on the following kick - catching the ball. The block on the halfling ball carrier came up double skulls - and the chef had left the CDs with no rerolls.

Pouring rain that lasted the entire game led to several silly ball handling failures as it squeezed out of the hands of player after player, often back and forth between the same two or three players three times (and the players lying down) before coming to rest. The rain led to Da Boyz falling back on the old Orc standby of "Hit dem till dey don't get up no more," but it wasn't until near the end of the second half, after a wizard decided to "show them how it should be done", inflicting a fatal wound on The Salesman (who was saved by the apothecary), stunning another, and KOing a third. Shortly after that, the orcs had The BNB Team down to five players on the pitch, but there was no time to take advantage of this. Da Boyz did line up for a last ditch goblin fling to try to put one point on the board, but despite a high kick in a favorable location, were unable to catch or even pick up the ball!

Other highlights include Explorer, a BNB catcher, seriously injuring a Black Orc, a lineorc intercepting a throw made by a safe pass elf, Hamfist very nearly duplicating this feat, and many silly catches among the ball slipping plays that certainly should not have happened. Also a gang of Orcs ganging up and fouling poor Discreet, who is already suffering from injuries making him very fragile "cuz it waz funny" and, from the coach Justice's mouth "To help him get problematic injuries like that off his roster. It was for his own good, really."

Shockula's go Chainsaw, Wizard and Babe combo... close game with alot thralls and skinks in both KO's/dead injured boxes all game... but in the end a skink pulls shanagins and scores on turn 16 to seal the deal. BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE... ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!

The induced wizard gives the ball to Grave Condition, but they can't quite hold onto it.

Drakwald Deathsquad did not come out to play today. Failing on all of the critical plays to win the game.

The Orcs made a few ill fated sprints and dodges in the last few turns, more or less sealing the Eviscerators' win.

Atlético Lustria started the game off with a blitz and scored quickly. The Horsemen couldn't rally effectively, and despite beating up a few frogs, they never turned the game around.

Reptiles induced 2 50k cards, A magic bash stick and a witches brew (which was forgot in the locker room, but that's ok.). Much frustration by the Disciples, with a failed block first action that just went downhill from there. Lizards continue their playoff aspirations, with the Disciples looking to recover in time for their playoff games.

Lawn Gnomes induce a babe which has no effect in the game. The Gnomes lose the bashing game, with a dead runner, but win the scoring part of the game, which is what really counts.
