The Season IV Rat City Majors Launched yesterday, and what a day it was! The Stonefist Superchargers faced off against Bishop’s Angeles, and did what Dwarfs do best… marched right through them. In another Elf on Dwarf matchup, the New Elf City Jets managed to survive a bout with the heavily favored champions from last season, the Deatroller Daffodils, and even pulled off a tie! The Vamp on Orc matchup of Shockula’s Serial Killers vs. Da Boyz also ended in a tie, though I hear there weren’t many Thralls left on the pitch at the end. Infectious Excellence tangled with Substitutiary Locomotion as well, and pulled off a 2-0 win – high numbers for a Nurgle team. In the final tie of the night, LoqMundi faced off against Grave Condition, who ground each other down for a 1-1 tie. Lastly, the Eviscerators got to show off a bit against the Wildwood Warriors… The match ended 3-0 both Casualty and Score-wise for the Eviscerators, and included not only a flying Goblin TD, but also the chopping down of a treeman and a TD run in by the Duke himself.
